Virginia has been part of Football for Peace since 2017 as a key advisor on development Programmes on safeguarding.

Outside of her voluntary support she contributes to IISS research, represents the Institute at conferences internationally and in the media, and delivers briefings to government and corporate audiences on security and development trends pertinent to, primarily, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and parts of South Asia.

Virginia established and ran the IISS Security and Development programme between 2014 2018. Prior to that she was a member of the IISS Transnational Threats and Political Risk team working on international... terrorism, radicalisation, organised crime and conflict. In this capacity she was seconded to the UK Ministry of Justice. She has prior experience in private security and strategic intelligence. Virginia is a member of the European Expert Network on Terrorism Issues and of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organised Crime. She sits on the international advisory board of the African Centre for Peace Building Ghana and on the steering committee of Women in International Security UK (WIIS UK). She also acts as a Project Associate for the International Drug Policy Project, LSE, and as a Technical Advisor at the Global Drug Policy Observatory, Swansea University.

A strategic communications consultant with a background in journalism, mass media and advising global corporates and governments. In recent years, he's created networks of civil society groups in different countries, building their capacity to deliver credible counter extremism content that impacts on individuals at risk of radicalisation. Developing trusted relationships and creating impactful content are his two key skills. Tony worked with the team to develop programmes in the United Kingdom (Bradford and east London) following the terror attacks in 2016 and 2017 and in France, a successful programme was delivered in the Paris suburb of St Denis supported by... both the UK and French governments. His media and consultancy background includes BBC News, Sky News, Financial Times and Brunswick PR. He has worked with the UK Home Office, US State Department and European interior ministries.

Having studied Business & Finance at college, Saad moved into banking, specialising in Trade Finance and documentary credits, whilst at the same time studying for the Chartered Institute of Banking exams. After a further year with Warwick University on a distance learning basis, Saad moved into trade and merchanting with an export house, managing key clients and assuming overall responsibility for operations. In the early 2000’s, Saad moved to Dubai where he was responsible for establishing a successful trading company specialising in the supply of technical products to the construction industry. He has worked on some of the most iconic... landmark projects in Dubai. After returning to London, Saad decided to set up on his own, and maintained the network of contacts throughout the development boom in the Emirates, and continues to travel extensively in the region.

Madam Chaka founded a company called Afro Legacy, a strategic advisory and public speaking firm with a focus on Africa and its diaspora. She has experience from top-tier consulting firms having worked within the advisory divisions of the likes of Accenture, Deloitte and KPMG.  Her career has seen her on platforms in Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Liberia, Tanzania, Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Namibia, Uganda, Togo, United Kingdom, Dubai and the United States of America.

She holds a Masters of International Business awarded with distinction and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University, Australia. In addition, she studied... African Studies to understand the needs of the continent, a UK-based charity. Madam Chaka serves on the advisory board of the African Women in Energy and Power.

As a strategic advisor she has advised companies across industries such as Sasol, Xstrata Coal, Volkswagen, Standard Bank, Mondelez, Kellogg’s, Zanele Mbeki Development Trust, Aspen Institute and Department of Defence. She formed part of the advisory team to Former President Mbeki to Nigeria. Practically, she has travelled to 19 African countries to understand the needs of the continent on the ground.

As a Pan African speaker, she has addressed children in underprivileged schools in South Africa, Ghana, DRC and Zimbabwe. She has also spoken at various prisons. She has shared stages with H.E Vice President, Jewel Taylor of Liberia and H.E Former Vice President of Zimbabwe Joice Mujuru, Former President H.E. Mbeki of South Africa, Former President H.E. Mkapa of Tanzania, Former President H.E. Marzouki of Tunisia, and Former President H.E Mohamud of Somalia.

Dr. Diallo was the Director for the United Nations New York Office of Sport for Development and Peace office from 2004-2008, during which he helped launch Football for Peace.

Aside from this he has led numerous initiatives that demonstrated the convening power of Sport to mobilise the United Nations, its Member States, the Private Sector, Civil Society Organisations and the public at large for sustainable development and peace building.

Dr. Diallo also served as Spokesperson for the President of the United Nations General Assembly. In this role, he conceived strategic communications outreach in 136 countries around the world, under which he initiated... the first United Nations Global Youth Leadership Summit in New York in October 2006. This brought together youth leaders between the ages of 18‐30 from nearly 192 countries.

With over 35 years of experience in international relations as an international civil servant, Dr. Diallo has been a strong proponent of preparing a new generation of leaders to take on the mantle of safeguarding, uniting and strengthening humanity’s common home.

Dr. Djibril Diallo now serves the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN) as President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Dr. Diallo leads ARDN’s global “Pathway to Solutions” initiative which aims to popularise the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and spread the goodwill of the United Nations, in close consultation and collaboration with partners including the office of the Deputy‐Secretary‐General of the United Nations, the United Nations Senior Africans Group, United Nations system entities, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

He is an Advisor within  international NGO’s, including Football for Peace Global since its launch in 2013 and he is also committed with the Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation in Kenya and Mission89 based in Switzerland.

She also currently serves on the GCC Steering Committee for Football for Peace. Her client list includes Royal Dignitaries, Heads of State, Ministers, UHNWI, Family Offices and Executives.

In 2019, she was awarded by the Business in Africa Magazine as one of the Top 10 Most Influential Friends of Africa and... In 2017, Zahara was a finalist for the “Rising Star” category in 2017 for the prestigious British Muslim Awards.

Furthermore, Zahara has worked on key philanthropy and impact campaigns with HRH The Prince of Wales, The Princes Trust and Mosaic International network. She is currently a trustee of Jaago Foundation, where she opened her first school in Chittagong, 2012. Zahara has a passion for education and developing sustainable livelihoods. Zahara formally chaired The Princes Trust Junior Associated Programme.

Zahara holds a MSc in Global Governance from UCL and is a published researcher having obtained a distinction in her master’s dissertation on the global issues surrounding Water Wars and the impact of Shale Gas production across the US and China.
